D1 and all the other sites put in #4 seeds based on who is ahead in conference or likely to win the confernece tourney

Other then say 4-5 spots that may be bid stealing it doesnt matter who they plus into the #4 spots until tourneys are done

So when they do the projections dont even bother with #4 seeds until the actual smaller conferences are finished

We probably needed to beat Bama to go along with our deep SECT run and even then probably not.

Even the NCAA waits until SEC Tourney is over to announce host sights, which isn't the case, there are several SEC schools that would still be ahead of the Aggies in the pecking order.

Home team in first game and depending on how the rest of whatever regional we are in could be home team 2 or three times

New rules the higher seed is home team every game. Being a 2 is important

Here for my helping of crow.

I have said several times the Ags would not make the tournament. In my defense, we really haven't had the good pitching we saw in Hoover. The pitching we saw against Vandy was more in line with what we saw for the season. If the Ags continue to get pretty decent pitching, there is a chance of advancing to the super-regionals. If not, we won't. So in the mean time, serve me up a helping of crow.

100% agree. But I'll gladly take their money. I think I've won all but 2 wagers over the last 6-7 years, I've made 30 or more. And they have all paid.

I prefer to have optimism and say "yeah we got this, we will make it" and then if we don't, I was wrong. It's a more fun way to go through life being positive

Agree. Being preemptively pessimistic seems like a horrible way to live.

I don't really understand the regional process. If you win the SEC tournament, is it an automatic bid? Or does your season stats still affect whether you get in?
