What are you basing this on? No one thinks we're not in.
As far as I know, none of the users that post here are on the selection committee. Right nowt we are likely in good shape but there is a lot of baseball to play that might find bid stealers unexpectedly winning tourneys or teams that are currently on the wrong side of the bubble having a good tourney runs pushing themselves on the the right side of the bubble.
This almost happened in 2017. Went to Hoover safely in, lost our game. Still things looked good. Then almost everything that could happen to push us to the wrong side of the bubble happened, so much so it looked like we were out. Was very, very nervous that selection Monday.

I know the SEC is really strong, but we finished below .500 in conference and were not all that great in OOC/Tuesday games.amercer said:

I'm rooting for our guys, the talent is there, especially when they have these big innings we've seen, but this team has no one to blame but themselves if they get left out.

We're in. Finishing 14-16 in the best conference in the world is just fine. This team can win the whole thing or go 0-2 but I can assure you they are in.
Texas 2 and out at Big 12 tournament. That has to hurt their hosting chances.

Live RPI has them down to 28 now. We're up to 32. TAMU and whorn should be 2 seeds, IMHO.
Don't underestimate what the committee pines for:
I think a win against LSU or Arkansas will push us to a two seed because then we will have played at least 5 games in the SEC against teams with low RPIs
and it's important to be a 2-seed...in case the 1-seed in the opposing regional goes down

- #1 Wake Forest should get a cupcake regional...which means no SEC teams

Stillwater, possibly Dallas if DBU is a host or Stanford would be my bets of where we end up if a 2 seed.
If give DBU a host. You could have a regional of something like DBU, TAMU, and TCU which would be a matchup committee would probably like.
