Radford replaces Q. So you need somebody to replace what Radford was this year and it doesn't have to come from one person.

In other words, we may not have a replacement for Q, but we'll get his production from multiple players. You are probably right, but I'm hopeful that Obaseki develops his offensive game like Q did.

I'm saying Radford replaces Q's production.

Radford will probably contribute in various ways like he did this year, but I don't see him being the primary offensive weapon like Q became.

Radford was great down the stretch. As good as Q played down the stretch, Radford only averaged like 3.9 less pts per game in March. And Radford shot 46% from three. I expect him to improve even more than he did down the stretch. Radford is the man next year and I think he is more than capable of leading us to the tournament

I like Radford a lot, but he's a 6'2" guard who has his limitations. Q was a 6'5" athletic guard who developed his overall game and realized his potential when we put the ball in his hands. Sorry, but I don't see Radford being able to do what Q did.

Players aren't static. Taylor and Obaseki will improve and we'll get more from the post than we did last year between Coleman and the new arrival. It's going to be a different type of offensive approach. And you know we will defend.

So are we done in the portal unless someone else transfers?

I think Radford might be better next year than Q was this year.

So 3 years ago you saw what Q would become at the end of this season?

Looking thru the transfers I found a kid who really made a mistake. I've seen a few who transferred and it didn't work out, but this one is glaring.

Mylik Wilson is from a small 2A school in Louisiana and was the player of the year in the state. He started 50 games for Louisiana his first two years and averaged 12 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Transferred to TTech and averaged 2.5 ppg and is back in the portal.

I hope you're correct on Radford becoming as good a player as Q became and can become the leader of our offense next year. They were both very good at the end of last year. I personally think the success of next year's team depends largely on the development and improvement of Taylor and Obaseki at the guard position. I also think the additions of Marble and Garcia will help our team significantly with more veratilty at the other positions. .

Interesting. I thought if we added a guard it would be more of a scoring/shooting guard, but he would definitely help us. A lot of experience and was the AAC defensive player of the year. I wonder if he still have a committable offer after landing Garcia.
