When viewing it as a replacement for Cash, I think it is a good pickup. He is an improvement in basically all areas compared to Cash. However, we have limited spots, so I would think this puts a little more pressure on the staff to land someone who is more offensively gifted. I'd still love to see us land Efe Abogidi, which means in order to then land someone who is a serious offensive threat from outside 6ft we would need another player to depart our team.
I think he's a decent piece. He makes us better in some places we were bad. (Length, rebounding, flexibility on defense)
The problem with this pickup is the overall roster issues. I just can't see how this roster is better then last years.

This pickup is fine unless you are playing GM and looking to match the additions with our needs and weaknesses.
If assuming no returning player improves, then I get your concern. I think it's reasonable to think a returning player, especially a freshman or someone that was in their first year of getting minutes, will improve and therefore that roster spot improves.Double Diamond said:

He is going through the NBA draft process. So he has until June 13th to pull out of the draft. So then he might start taking visits. We are one of his 10 finalists. If you wait until mid to late June and you don't get him then you might get stuck with nothing.
