Stevenson has been in the portal for 3 weeks. I wonder if our communication is recent, implying we're not done trying to add to the roster, or if this happened before the Coleman and Hall commitments.

He would probably be my ideal add. Only thing that would top his profile would be some cold blooded 3 pt shooter that has proven he can shoot at the P5 level, but I doubt there are any out there that aren't considering better options

Agree - just went back and watched some high school highlights as well.

Very skilled player (knows game well), but definitely lacks quickness. That being said, there are some sneaky players similar to him that end up playing at the highest level.

I think he's going to be a very nice player for us. I just don't think he can give us many minutes at PF vs SEC teams I'll think he would get abused on the blocks.

Depends on what type of player the other team has at the 4 and who we have at the 3 and 5. If he's a tough enough matchup on the offensive end we can hide him on the defensive end.

On defense if isolated on the blocks a lot by a college PF who knows what he's doing, okay, but the other team has to also guard him. The matchup issues go both ways. The opponent is going to have to guard a 6'8" guy who can play lead guard. He got 10+ assists in 3 games last season. Not sure I remember the last time we had an Aggie player get 10+ assists in a game.

Also if we stick with the "cover two" defense the individual matchups don't matter all that much because of all the movement and rotating. (For better or for worse)

Since he's already transferred once, I don't know if he would need to sit out a year. This is noteworthy because we recruited him pretty hard when he transferred from Nevada; we were one of three schools, along with Kentucky and Arizona, to get a visit before he committed to Arizona. With Miller leaving he is on the move again.

Because he sat last time I wouldn't think he'd have to sit this time.

I bet we are done unless a for sure impact player wants to come or somebody that has one year of eligibility is interested. I don't think they will use the last scholarship just because they have it. Also might not be bad to have a scholarship available in case some guys enter the portal come August or such.

Jordan Brown seems like an easy take to me, unless we're really worried about the roster being top heavy with guys with 3-4 years to play, or if Javonte Brown is just tearing it up in practice. That assumes he's interested, which very well may not be the case. Kentucky has 4 spots to fill, I think, and so if they want him it may be a no-brainer.

But let's be realistic, with the new transfer portal rules, it is almost a certainty we'll get turnover every year. Don't remember where I saw it, but I read a couple days back that only three Power 6 schools didn't lose at least one player to the portal this year.

pretty sure our in with Brown was the fact that he played on the same prep school team as Emanuel Miller did in California.

One of the biggest names to enter the portal so we probably have no shot. Probably will end up at Arkansas, LSU, Alabama or Auburn (complete speculation by me).

Arizona State guard Remy Martin has entered the transfer portal, source told ESPN. Two-time first-team All-Pac-12 selection, averaged 19.1 points each of the last two seasons.
