Obanor is from Houston too so that can't hurt. He's a stretch 4 who is one of the best 3pt shooters in America while shooting a lot of 3s. Would be a great system fit and a huge addition if we could pull it off.

Small is on the Athletes in Action team with Quenton Jackson that is currently playing some games in Europe.

Looks like a stretch 4. Pulls down some rebounds and shoots the 3 well.

I watched some highlights of Small and he isn't too shabby for a role player on your bench. But man he might be the skinniest players I've ever seen. Ok Sean Bradley "might" have him beat.

Ok no. He's even skinnier than Bradley was in college.

That projected starting lineup has too many guards who can't shoot the damn ball. Williams only shoots 33% in a garbage lconference.

JUCO transfer Aaron Cash can hit a 3. We'll see if he's in the rotation. Obaseki is a nice wing that can fill gaps on offense and defense. The nifty lefty score in volumes, creating off the dribble...which we haven't been able to do in 2 years.

If you can't shoot outside consistently, then Go Big. Brown-Ferguson, Coleman, Hall and punish our opponents. Cash, Henderson off the bench.

Saw that as well, which surprises me. I imagine he would have had some solid high major options.

Oh no doubt he could play and do well at a major conference, think he just wanted to stay with ORU and I respect that. That's the school that wanted him when others didn't, so a little sorry to bail on them (even if understood).

I absolutely respect it and think it's great, just not something I expect to see much from mid-major stars in the age of the free-transfer rule.

We could definitely use a guy that shot 46% from three and 89% from FT line. You land him and you might go with him and Coleman as your starting front court and play a little small and I wouldn't be mad about it.

Tech already landed transfer Bryson Williams from UTEP though. That would make sense for Obanor (or Bryson Williams)? Obanor and Williams seem like somewhat similar players who would step on each other for minutes.

Small might be a decent role player who could come in a shoot a little. In the 5 games in his career against what I would consider to be major programs(UH, Texas, Baylor, UNLV and Miss St) he averaged 4 points per game, didnt make a single 3 and was scoreless in 2 of those games. Hasn't exactly shown he can play against SEC level competition.
