Colleges who have already reached out to Obanor include Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Georgia, Penn State — and plenty more. https://t.co/b1l8LzUYs5

FWIW, this way-too-early conference prediction puts us in 10th place:https://theathletic.com/2651399/2021/06/15/early-sec-mens-basketball-power-rankings-kentucky-tennessee-stand-ahead-in-a-loaded-conference/?source=emp_shared_articleQuote:
10. Texas A&M
Possible starters: Marcus Williams (transfer), Manny Obaseki (Fr.), Quenton Jackson, Jordan Hall (transfer), Javonte Brown (transfer)
Bench: Andre Gordon, Hayden Hefner, Hassan Diarra, Henry Coleman III (transfer), Ethan Henderson (transfer), Aaron Cash (junior college), Wade Taylor IV (Fr.), Ashton Smith (Fr.)
Buzz Williams has attempted to restock and restart his program with promising but largely unproven (at the SEC level) talent. Ranked No. 31 in the Class of 2021, Obaseki (6-foot-4 shooting guard) is the second-highest ranked player (behind DeAndre Jordan) in the 247Sports Composite to sign with A&M. Taylor, a 5-10 point guard, is a borderline top-100 prospect too. Williams was Mountain West Rookie of the Year at Wyoming, averaging 14.8 points and 4.3 assists. Hall was Atlantic-10 All-Freshman at St. Joseph's, averaging 10.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 5.7 assists as a 6-8 forward. Coleman was a top-50 recruit who played just five minutes per game as a freshman at Duke, Brown a four-star 7-footer who transferred after two games at Connecticut, Henderson the No. 1 recruit in Arkansas who averaged 6.9 minutes in three years with the Razorbacks. How many of these newcomers can really help? Jackson (10.4 ppg, 41.1 percent from 3) and Gordon (9.3 ppg, 2.7 apg) are back to offer some stability for the Aggies and surely some of the fresh faces will pan out, but this feels more like a bridge year than a breakout season.
The SEC is not the right conference.MarcAg said:
Ok no. He's even skinnier than Bradley was in college.
Isiah Small has now officially been offered by Texas, Texas Tech, Texas A&M. Athletic 6’8 combo forward that is a fantastic shooter from outside. https://t.co/755FWR77eL

Obanor and Abmas both in the portal and either one would be a great development for us. All the clues indicating our secret transfer is "someone everyone knows" had me thinking it'll be one of these two, but that's also me just really hoping it's one of these two.

Diving into his splits, this cat shot 49% from three in 16 sun belt games. He wasn't shooting a ton, but attempting 2.6 per game.

Small might be a decent role player who could come in a shoot a little. In the 5 games in his career against what I would consider to be major programs(UH, Texas, Baylor, UNLV and Miss St) he averaged 4 points per game, didnt make a single 3 and was scoreless in 2 of those games. Hasn't exactly shown he can play against SEC level competition.
They're all pretty at closing time..Hop said:phorizt said:

If Beard offered him, that's good enough for me.
