Probably. He's from Richmond, which is alot closer to Blacksburg than College Station.

Can't see any reason to cancel a Zoom at the last minute based solely on maybe being able to recruit someone else...

But the info is behind a pay wall so no idea.

I don't know a ton about the guy, but based solely on Hop hyping him up a lot recently based on one tournament game, I've had him all but penciled in to our roster the last few days. We'll see I suppose

I just liked the guy. That is independent of what the staff thinks of him. And I don't operate like that. I'm not connected to the program like that.

Hyatt had a Zoom with Penn State on Monday and then this cancelled Pitt Zoom. Hyatt is also from NY. Andrew Slayer of Athletic seems to think Penn State will be the pick, which is also a lot closer to home for Hyatt than an A&M.

We're too late. Vila is back home in Spain and is now communicating in Spanish and going pro. Seriously though, for those few wondering what happened to him, he had foot problems at UTEP.

He's going to have more options now than he did out of HS. He had knee surgery a month or so ago, but I think it was minor.

I watched every UTEP game the last two years. Bryson is a great player! One of the best utep players I've ever watched. He was double and triple teamed every game. He is a more skilled version of Emmanuel Miller.
Vila struggled big time and was benched by the end of the season. If A&M could get Bryson Williams that would be the biggest win of the offseason.
