I like this Williams pickup a lot more than I would have Sills.

Sills would have felt 'okay' but this Williams kid looks like he could be pretty fun to watch.

His numbers all look good except his turnover rate. He had 71 this season. He has to clean that up, but I like his assist average and scoring. Looks like a tough kid.

Freshmen and turnovers go together like peanut butter and jelly. I think it's one of the easier things to clean up as players get older, especially in guys who check a lot of other boxes

I agree. I like the addition.

I'm on the fence. He seems a little stiff to me. Thanks I'd rather give up the inch and take Hyatt.

You think Langston Wilson is off the table? I saw an article with him from last week and he said "Winning program" is biggest thing to him.

Oladapo averaged about 6 points and under 5 boards in a 4 games stretch vs Okie St, Purdue, Mich and Mich State this year so that's probably what you would expect vs SEC competition. His next 3 games vs his conference competition he averaged a fantastic 17 points, 16 rebounds and over 2 steals per game. Seems like a really good player at the Oakland level who is outmatched vs high majors.

Eh, that's not necessarily the right way to interpret that without watching the games. It could be that his teammates were so outclassed by their counterparts on those teams that they were able to double team him or shade their defense toward him to try and take him away. Especially for a big where you're really dependent on the guard getting you the ball in good places on the court.

He also could have been playing the 5 for Oakland which means he'd draw much larger defenders against bigger teams where here he probably wouldn't usually be the biggest guy on the court.

I'm not necessarily saying that's wrong analysis, just that the box score sometimes doesn't tell the whole story.

Averaged 37 minutes per game in conference play. Played less than 20 minutes in two of those games vs Big Ten teams. His minutes in first 7 games look a lot different than his minutes the rest of the way. Wonder if he could have been brought along slowly because of injury or if they just werent expecting him too be a big minute guy and he improved and earned them as the season went on.

He is undersized and not overly athletic and that's not usually good a combo, but he has some decent moves. Am I going to be excited if we land him? No. Am I going to act like its the end of the world? No. He is a depth guy. We need some bodies. If we went undersized I would prefer a guy who can step out and hit the three but maybe there arent any of those giving us a whiff.

One of the best 3-point shooters in the country. He has had injury problems and I'm not sure what he does well other than shoot 3s. But, he's real good at that (46% and 47% the last two years).

very true. It just seems like we've seen this play out many times before where that particular transition, undersized 4/5 who has no shooting range and is limited athletically, doesn't translate even if they were very successful at a lower level. If he had any shooting range at all I'd feel much better about it but he went 0/1 on the year from 3. He doesn't block shots either which is concerning at that level.

I think the kid from Sulphur Springs is a better player if we want this kind of guy.

"To be honest, watching the NCAA tournament was tough -- it was the first time I was jealous of anyone playing basketball. Wheeler cited several elements he'll be considering when evaluating his options around the college game.

"The roster -- who am I going to be playing with? The schedule -- who am I playing against? The reputation of the head coach, as far as his plan to take my game to the next level. Location and fan base," Wheeler said.

Interested to see where he ends up, because I wouldn't be surprised if he is one that a coach was already in his ear considering he is UGA's top player and he waited this long to enter.

So he basically is telling Georgia basketball fans 'guys, Georgia has no chance of going to the NCAAT next season, so I'm out of here?'

Heck, let's just convince Drew Timme to come back home. Or at least back in state.
Surely his parents would prefer to see him with more frequency.....

Is Desi Sills still in play for A&M? Gave and Luicci mentioned him specifically by name on Friday on radio show.
