Seconded. Hutchins is my 2nd favorite in the Metroplex. Even at dinner, they're knocking it out of the park. The brisket is A+

Went to Freedmans today and wasn't impressed at all. Brisket seemed over cooked.
Color me disappointed...

I like the fact it's open late and has a great bar

Speaking of Instagram posts I saw this from Mickelthwait yesterday. That's top 10 brisket? It's like 50% fat cap.

Man I hate hearing stuff like this because the few times I went (haven't gone since 2015) they were awesome. Slow but great food. That picture though is some terrible looking brisket and blows my mind that they would use that as their marketing for the day. Makes me wonder if owner is trying to do something on the side and let someone else run the trailer while he's doing that.Koldus131 said:
Micklethwait making the TM Top 10 will never make sense to me. I've never been that impressed when I've been there and I've never seen a picture that looked jaw-droppingly good.

Have you been to the Bodacious on Mobberly? Their brisket is pretty darn good. The Bodacious in Marshall has excellent ribs. Better than Stanley's or Country Tavern in my opinion.

I thought the Bodacious on Mobberly was good but not quite top 10 in Texas good. I love Stanley's and the Tavern so I'll have to check out the Bodacious in Marshall now.
