Yes, he gets free relief from the grandstands. I'm surprised he didn't have to find the ball and it to be playable to get the drop, but I don't know if that's in the rule.

Well now they said they found it, so that doesn't matter.

Didn't something similar happen to Speith? His ball ended on the roof and he got a free drop even though nobody went up to the roof to actually identify it?

So...because of the grandstands that aren't usually there, like the situation with Speith, it's considered that your lost ball isn't your fault. You're then awarded a mulligan provisional? Crazy.

Its bad and so is Kisner. He brings no insight or meaningful analysis to the broadcast. They need to cut ties with him.

It's not a bad break when the ball hits the face of the bunker and bounces into the bunker.

It's not a bad break when you hit a 5-wood on the green and it rolls off the back.

It's not a bad break when your drive rolls through the fairway and into a bunker.

The ball ended up where it did because you hit it there. It wasn't due to bad luck.

Getting a horrible kick to a place in the bunker where you can only hit backwards is bad luck.

Hitting a fantastic tee shot that rolls forever and ends up 6 inches into the bunker is bad luck.
