Also, I recommend using myVegas (app on Facebook) if you are going to shows in pairs. In less than a day of "playing" the games, you can easily get enough points--for free--to get a free ticket to shows like Ka, Love, and Zarkana when you purchase a companion seat. I got seats to Zarkana today for a total of $86 in not terrible seats. Pretty good deal, but they have similar deals for better shows (Ka and Love)--we just didn't want to walk over for them.

Saw: blue man group, terry fator, and David copperfield. All were great and I recommend them.
Ate at Gordon Ramsays STEAK. It was good, but not the best steak ever. Experience was cool.

This is confusing, but I'd stay away from Femont if you like to booze it up while walking from casino to casino...

Leaving tomorrow, will hit no shows, will gamble and drink copious amounts.

Plan on hitting up the usual spots - Rhumbar at the Mirage, the Double Down Saloon, Twin Peaks and will dine at Hash House A Go Go and Mesa Grill. Also hope to try Heritage Steak at Mirage.

Twin Peaks? Is there something special about the Vegas Twin Peaks? They have those every big city.

Headed back in April - going to see the Sevendust acoustic show at Vinyl at Hard Rock. Will stay at the Hard Rock for the first time. Plan to again visit the usual faves Double Down Saloon, Hash House A Go Go, Rhumbar, and most likely will pop into Twin Peaks for the scenic views.

Will check out the new things going on at the Linq and might possibly ride on the new High Roller ferris wheel which should be open by then.

Going in mid-July... For some unknown reason prices skyrocketted this past week.

I've searched every Vegas event calender and there is absolutely nothing happening.

watty we're not the only ones. That place can get packed! The great thing about solo trips though is that often I can walk right past the line and sit at the bar.

my wife and i weren't all that enamored with hash house. the spicy BLT bloody mary was good though.

Still great info at the top still. Seems like the hotels are getting a little more stingy with comps these days, though. I suspect since the economy is better tourism is up.
