all right, the astros (38-78) finished the homestand 2-5. Time to go back out on the road.

looking at the schedule ahead...3 games at Wrigley, but then 18 of the next 21 vs. playoff contenders

Grew up watching the Astros in those unis, so I got a good dose of nostalgia this weekend. I'm glad the uniforms are getting (another) makeover next season; their current ones are so plain and unorignal. They need to go back to the blue and incorporate more of the "Space City" theme (not railroads). They are called the Astros for a reason.

Minor League Update:

Last night Corpus Christi scored 12 runs in the 6th and beat Springfield 20-9 (both 20 runs in a game and 12 in an inning are Corpus Christi records). Singleton homered twice, giving him 17 HRs and 72 RBIs on the year.

I'd like to keep the train, too. Not for the Astros, but for the Station that the Juice Box was built on. The Space theme (and Orbit) need to come back.
