Color me (quite) ignorant, I know Jimmy is considered a top flight star. What kind of game would he bring, and what type of role would he fill if the Rockets pulled off the improbable?

My question would be what we are sending out. Reports are the asking price is steep. I would be willing to part ways with Gordon but what else?

Edit: Did a little digging and it looks like we are offering Gordon+Tucker+1st and other similar packages for Butler. I hate losing Tucker in that scenario but I like the idea of Paul-Harden-Butler-Melo-Capela. With Ennis, Green, Nene, Chriss, Knight off the bench. Apparently Minnesota wants to dump a bad contract along w/ Butler so Morey is probably seeking a third team to get involved. This might be the time he cashes in on all the lottery tickets he bought recently.

I have to trust that Morey won't give up too much. He pretty much never does. Tucker would be a big loss but I think Butler brings a lot of that same type of toughness with him, albeit at a different position.

If we add Butler, I think that's a starting 5 that can compete with the Warriors. Bench would be weak AF though.
