They need to get rid of boozer either by S&T or amnesty provision. If they get Melo via S&T then they will have use of their MLE which they are hoping to use on Pau.

Problem is they have already promised Nikola Mirotic a spot on the roster and haven't signed him yet.

Thanks for the clarification. Aggie 01-05, that's an interesting take about using us as leverage. But most contenders can only offer the MLE and I think Chicago has their plan set anyways. And it already looks like he has no desire to re-sign in LA for double the MLE. I suppose it could be leverage if Chicago makes Pau a priority over Melo, but I don't see that happening.

I'm beginning to think that Pop has telepathic powers and has a link to all of his players brain and has created this hive mind of how to beat people on the court. He doesn't need to be there in summer league, he's still controlling everything.
