Amad deserves an assist on that 2nd goal. Great pressing and tackling to rob Branthwaithe. Hope he can lock down that right wingback spot. He really does seem to fit the role well because his pressing has always been good.

Amad is so good. Great assist to Rashford to start second half. Everton every week!

Amad and Rashford should thrive in this system.

That wasn't a foul by Martinez.

I think Osman is trying to argue it could have been a red. I mean… this guy. lol.

As long as I'm handing out assists, Zirkzee deserves one for that pass that released Amad for the eventual 3rd goal. Spectacular.

That was easy but excellent

Amad is a beast. And of course Zirkzee gets a brace after I said something.

As in Leon Osman? No bias there at all I see. What a joke.

Just for an instant they got the spacing right playing out from the back. You could see the back 3 and the 4 in the next line above and all the connected triangles for passing.

At least one of my football teams scored and won this weekend.

If we want to pick on something negative, I said in the summer that whenever I watch Everton, Branthwaite doesn't really look that good. So, admittedly, it's perception bias because I probably only watch Everton when they play teams that are better than they are, at least until the end of the year for the relegation race.

But today was another game that honestly didn't do much to change my opinion. There are rumors we still want him, but, boy, I am very ambivalent.

Good news. Looks like we'll be a mere 4 points behind City and currently have a better GD than them.

Bad news. Looks like we'll be 15 points behind Liverpool and currently have a -14 to them in GD.

Side note: when was the last time we had a lofty +4 GD? Certainly not this season. And I don't think we ever got there last season though could be wrong.

I was just happy to see an EPL game where we dominated for the 90 minutes and didn't have to worry about the outcome. Been a long time since we saw that.

Hahaha...the Athletic reporting today that this is the first time since the 2012-13 season that United have had a better GD than City 10 or more games into the season.

(That's not schadenfreude at City's current misery but rather laughter to hide the tears at our own 10+ years of misery. Well...it's mostly the latter but maybe not ONLY the latter).

Shaw is back in training. Setting the over/under at 17.5 days before he's injured again. Place your bets now.

Missed the news yesterday that Shaw pulled another muscle somewhere and is out "for a few weeks".

I never clarified if the 17.5 days was from rejoining training or from his return to the 1st team. Over hit on the former, under hit on the latter.

some guys just have bad luck with injuries. but, Jose really did not like Shaw and one of reasons was he felt Shaw didn't do enough to get into and stay in shape. I wonder if these injuries have anything to with his lack of fitness throughout his career.

I don't think the injuries are due to fitness. I think he just has Anthony Martial and Phil Jones syndrome: injuries tend to beget more injuries.

Arsenal have to be the fittest team in the league. They are everywhere it seems.

Unsurprisingly we are Struggling. Only chance we created came off a Mount shot that was shanked so bad it led to a Harry Maguire cross and an eventual Dalot effort. 0-0 would be a big positive if we're honest.

I wish I supported a team that could score on a corner like that.

Almost an Olympico. Why can we defend corners?

No one has figured out Arsenal's set pieces but it's a little disappointing to see them defended the exact same way every time even though they've scored twice and gone close two other times on them.

To be fair to your squad, Arsenal is scoring corners against everyone they play

Yeah, but this is below the average even so

I no longer dwell on Twitter but saw a screenshot of a tweet from 2010 when Amorim scored the loan goal in a 1-0 Benfica victory over Porto. It was a lucky goal as the Porto goalie, Nuno, spilled it into his own net.

Tomorrow they manage against one another at Old Trafford.

The offensive spacing is a million times better so far. These service balls and crosses in are really close to being goals.

There were two nice passes there. The first to Ugarte in the middle and the second to Garnacho.

That was well done.

Nice clean up work for a goal by Hojlund
