That 2H was fantastic. Open. A little scattershot. Lots of fun.

Damn it. An absolute gift to win it.

2-2 and we outplayed them. I don't think it was particularly close. We were the better team today.

First time Amorim had a week (nearly...6 days officially) of training between games and perhaps it paid off. Hope had evaporated after that City win. This doesn't mean much in and of itself but damn, at least it's something.

Realistically, our next 7 PL games are:

Southampton
Brighton
@Fulham
Palace
@Spurs
@Everton
Ipswitch

Hopefully we get enough points that the relegation talk goes away (we have been bad, but come on now). Then, sadly… we really need to focus on Europa. And we need to finish the group stage in the top 8. Probably our best chance at champions league.

I know I'm preaching to the choir. But Michael Oliver is utter **** and should not be reffing top level matches. If we can ignore for a second his anti-United bias, he gets major decisions wrong. Flat wrong time and again.

I actually thought Oliver had a good match. He got fooled on the Slabhead challenge on Salah (I think he was too close to the play) but the rest of the cards were correct and he didn't miss a card. Generally all the calls were correct across the board. The handling PK was interesting. He saw it and clearly waved it off. I wonder if the VAR talked him into it. Once you go to the monitor in England you are always going to see the original call changed. And like it or not it was handling.

Just my $0.02

I missed most of the game but have had a chance to go back and watch/digest the game. I'm not sure what to take away from all of this. Pleasantly surprised but understand that we've been here countless times before so hard to get excited. Interesting how Amorim (and Bruno to a lesser extent) really ridiculed the team to a degree asking why they can't play with that level of intensity and commitment all the time. Which is exactly what EtH asked on multiple occasions as well.

@ Arsenal on Sunday is one thing but home to Southampton and home to Brighton in the 7 days after will probably a better indicator if anything has really changed.

Some rumblings that United would consider selling Garnacho and Mainoo due to their financial situation with Chelsea supposedly interested in the latter.

Neither are untouchable when you're in the edge of PSR but would hope that United would demand close to 9 figures for Mainoo given his age and the English upcharge. Garnacho feels like a much more logical choice to sell but my guess is that the his is mostly just a lot of words with a small likelihood of happening.
