Just hoping the Jota knock is not anything serious and he is ready to go next week against Arsenal

That was a proper test for Slot ball and it passed with flying colors. We invited Chelsea's press all game long to create space. Early in the match the wings were too high and we struggled to find them. Once we compacted a bit, it opened up space behind Chelsea's press. The entire midfield had great energy and they routinely exploited those areas once the wings got clean possession. Cujo was magnificent, but it truly was a great team win. Great effort and positional discipline from all involved.

That said, it's games like this that make me want to lock up VVD forever. When you look at why Chelsea really lost, it's because their CBs were too sloppy in possession and unorganized. Virgil has lost a step, a younger version would have caught Jackson, but his calm presence will always be a winning intangible.

Huge win. Bummed we gave up the goal that we did but loved the response. Jones and Gravy played outstanding.

Slot said he would be surprised if he is available Wednesday and had to determine the extent of the issue.

Also noted that Mac has been/is ill, Bradley hurt and not available today along with Trent being iffy today and didn't practice this week.

Crazy math fact. After starting 7-0-1 and racking up 21 points in 8 games, that still doesn't project out to 100 points (It's 99.75) Insane the level of consistency needed to get to 100.

If that's accurate that's a no-brainer signing if there ever was one. Thought for sure he'd want at least 3-years. Sign him yesterday.

Definitely a no brainer, so it makes me wonder why it hasn't happened yet. I can't imagine LFC would argue that he should be paid less over the next two years. He is clearly one of the best 3 CBs in the world right now and I can't imagine that will change drastically over the next two years. I wonder if LFC want a longer contract....I certainly do.

Shades of Liverpool last year with the early concede. But obviously a very tough matchup away against a motivated and sort of "reeling" Arsenal.

Really hurts not to have Jota for this game. He is poison for Arsenal.

We definitely don't have the same level of pressing power without Szobo in the lineup.

For all of his failings as a goal scorer, his energy isn't really replicable by anyone.

Dominated the 2nd half and get a pt on the road at Arsenal. Will take that any day.

Happy with today's result. A tie away with a Top 3 team is always a good result.

We play BHA twice this week.
