For my wife's and I's 50th birthdays and 25th wedding anniversary we are headed to the Liverpool vs Everton match at Anfield during spring break (taking our son too) on April 2nd. Praying that it doesn't get moved (think we will be ok looking at the different cup schedules around then for Liverpool if they are still playing). It's a Wed night game and there isn't any wiggle room to move it the rest of the way unless they move it to another mid week time. Crossing fingers.
Anyways, just had to share as I know several have on here have been and just so pumped in general.

How many days are you going to be there?
We will land Monday morning at Heathrow and take the train to Liverpool that day. Spend Tuesday there (tour Anfield/gift shop and the city) and match day Wed. Going to London to visit the sights Thursday through Sat and fly back home Sunday
So IIRC, you don't get to tour the dressing rooms the night before a match. But everything else on the tour should be available to you. For Tuesday, you should be able to park in the Stanley Park parking lot and walk to the stadium/gift shop etc. It's like right there. But on match day, use public transportation, or better yet, use an Uber. It's not the best for fan management like Kyle Field.

Awesome, thanks for the info. Good to know on the tour and the dressing room, really want to see that. Will find out and then go from there (might could do Monday, but that's a long day).
We got a hospitality package and looking at Airbnb that we can walk to Anfield, or definitely will uber if staying further away. Not renting a car so will walk, uber, public transport around everywhere regardless.

Take advantage of EVERYTHING the hospitality package offers. Arrive early, stay late. Don't leave your seat at halftime. I hope your family has the most wonderful time. I went in March 2023 and did a hospitality package as well. So if you have questions as it gets closer, feel free to reach out and I can tell you what we did! Pumped for you!

Is it me or has TAA looked bad for awhile now? Don't know if he's distracted with contract/future situation or what but he's been in poor form.
Konate looks really hurt on that last corner kick.
Hopefully some good adjustments and a big 2nd half!

So is Tsimikas our new first choice LB?
Appears so for now. After Saka had him in a blender its been pretty much Tsimikas. I swear I heard some pundit or Slot or whoever say he was dinged up for a bit and not in top form and needed some or to work on getting better. Can't remember where or when though.

Slot has been pretty good at making halftime adjustments this season. This team is never out of a game. We are definitely a second half team
