Does he just not have what it takes to be the full-time manager? Not that winning the league anywhere is easy, but RB Salzburg don't really have any competition in the Austrian Bundesliga and he has them in 5th (out of 12) and they are stinking it up in the CL too.

Liverpool under Klopp were a great team because of the raw energy our guys poured into the game. They fought like lions every game and ran to exhaustion....every game. Only Klopp can inspire that dedication and effort. Without Klopp that same set of tactics is suicide.

The more you watch Arne Slot, the more you understand Pep's short comings. Tactics clearly weren't the source of our success, it's was Klopps father-like figure that lifted us to a higher level. Arne has gotten the same (or better) results with calmer tactics and less running. Pep has no idea how to do that, nor can he be the same cult hero as Klopp. Unfortunately, his ceiling is as an assistant manager.

That's a perfect summation of that game! Easy and dominating first half. It was quite obvious that the plan was to get some minutes to a few senior guys and then yank them off no matter what the score was. Thankfully we were up and held on. Good minutes for the young guys.
