That starting 11 plus reyna and aaronson are about all I want to see (and Zimmerman. He's cool)

His end of game management is HORRIBLE. So effing bad. He did everything wrong in the last 30 minutes or so. If McKennie is hurt and can't go, then put on Reyna instead of Acosta. He kneecapped the attack with 30 minutes left to play!

I can somewhat understand the idea of Wright for Sargent when he got injured. In theory, Wright should be able to hold the ball and provide a good target. But Wright was beyond useless at both. Did literally nothing of value.

But the defensive line shift in the 83rd minute was atrocious. He had to know that there was going to be a ton of added time and asking your team...a team composed of half of your B team and have of your tired ass A team who are playing their 3rd game in 8 days...to defend for 20 minutes is so freaking stupid on so many levels. You're inviting a team who was not in the game back into the game. And defending is so much more tiring than possessing and attacking. Just grade A stupidity.

I don't care if it worked. It only worked because luck was on our side.

Agreed with everything you said. From an attacking perspective, feels like Aaronson, Reyna and Ferreira are our best offensive options off the bench. But Greg seems to prefer going more defensive minded to protect leads?

They reset after the quarterfinals, so they carry over for 2 more matches.

Agreed. Our best defense would have been to keep the pressure on and hold the ball in their half and get a security score. We had the momentum and opportunity to keep the pressure on. Not a fan of the premature prevent defense and granting them opportunities for shots, fluke balls, bad penalties in the box, etc

I mean seriously...we have over 330,000,000 people in this country, and that is it? I've seen better finishers in the adult league of BCS! Or is this about the players that have been coddled through the various "elite" systems in the US...

Even freakin' Portugal has Ronaldo and still keeps Pepe (39) as captain...

I feel like this hype is just like the Freddy Adu situation where "the future will be exciting."

Most of the starting 11 plays for big European clubs so you know better than them? Not picking on you but I think the starting 11 is pretty good some big clubs shelling out a lot of cash for their services.

Shaq Moore is going to be good. As a RB, he's got tons of speed and the willingness to make the overlapping runs, and he's got ball skills. He needs more time in the camps and competitions with the USMNT... and Dest is our dude at RB, but Shaq is here surpassing Yedlin and Cannon.

Now Haji. If you got Greggg to leave Pefok and Pepi out of the 26 for you, and you earned a starting spot and two subs in all three group stage matches, you gotta show us something. In that 3rd match day, you're brought on late and then don't want to make the runs, don't attack the ball, and don't apply pressure--- then why are you here?
