Thats really the curious part. Its only the very top echelon of players that this is becoming an issue for. Players that are considered world class who are being asked to play in every match for club and country because of how good they are. Rodri, Haaland, Saka, Van Dijk, Mbappe, Vini Jr, etc. They are the ones that are really racking up the miles because they're playing 38 matches in leagues, 10-16 in CL, another couple in a league cup, some more in a domestic cup. For instance, Real Madrid played 55 competitive matches last year, Man City played 59. Spain & England played 17 competitive matches.KCup17 said:
