Honest question, no insult implied.MidTnAg said:
One Kick was blocked when GK jumped to a side.
Two Kicks would have been blocked if GK had stood in place.
He called a very good game. He rose to the occasion when the players stopped playing. The last card in the craziness was at 69'. He got to 118' before the next one. The players responded to him and mostly played soccer. I think only Cakir handles that game better. My only complaint is how he allowed the Colombians to delay restarts.LeonardSkinner said:
Mathguy! I only caught the last ten minutes of extra time and the shootout. I'm seeing a lot of talk about Geiger, but what's your quick gut feeling on how he did today?
I think players are starting to just rip it right up the center of the goal. Let's see if GKs adjust and just make themselves big in the middle.MidTnAg said:

The English commentator on Fox is literally crying.
My gut tells me he's done on the field, but likely VAR on a semi or the final. Cakir, Kuipers, Pitana have been equally good. So has Rocchi but since an Italian had the final last time he's not getting it this time. Geiger's biggest advantage is he's the only neutral left.LeonardSkinner said:mathguy86 said:He called a very good game. He rose to the occasion when the players stopped playing. Thanks. Does it bode well for him getting another assignment?

Lalas would probably be sitting with a bottle of Fireball on set if it was the US

How do you 8-5 blokes find time to watch these games? I'd be scared of my boss catching me watching.
I record the matches and watch em at home later, come to find 500 new responses here

I work from home and look up when the announcers get excited. But that being said, i didn't work today and could focus on this game.
