There was also a yellow card given to England before the PK so it all the time wasn't just for the PK

Yes. He should have carded the Captain. In any game I do I'm dealing with that. In the WC R16 with the constraints they are under? I don't know. I just don't. These guys are expected to manage players so differently.
My gut tells me he's done on the field, but likely VAR on a semi or the final. Cakir, Kuipers, Pitana have been equally good. So has Rocchi but since an Italian had the final last time he's not getting it this time. Watching the game Saturday in a English Pub in New Orleans.
I wanted to see Colombia make a deep run....oh well. I guess I'll be pulling for Brazil and Uruguay.

I work from home and look up when the announcers get excited. But that being said, i didn't work today and could focus on this game.

I spent the last 3 weeks watching games during office hours between classes. Test days were the best. 4 hours of tests and 2 hours in between. 6 hour watch party.
I'm a teacher/coach

I work from home and look up when the announcers get excited. But that being said, i didn't work today and could focus on this game.
same here work from home.... keep it on a side monitor and look over when something sounds imminent you can always tell by the announcers voices.
I used to do the same at work though for golf majors and soccer and other international things that tend to be on during the day. My bosses never seemed to care - it helped that I was a manger myself. As people found out about my interest they also wanted to watch but didn't have the guts I suppose....
so during the last WC we would book a seldom used out of the way conference room and have a meeting and invite those that wanted to watch and stream the game in there. We all had our laptops and would be working too but watching. anyone looking for you could see your calendar and see you were booked in a meeting - but the topic and agenda were private. lol
