Anybody else get annoyed with Alexi Lalas? The way he bashes players who are 100 times better than he ever was rubs me the wrong way. To me, it's like Tony Romo, as a commentator, bashing Tom Brady or Aaron Rogers for not having the mental fortitude to win a given Super Bowl (I'm not saying Tony Romo does that... just that it would be ridiculous if he did).
Give us insight on the game that average Americans might miss, but don't pretend you could ever hold their jock straps as a player.

So a single post about somebody in my 17 years of texags history means he "owns real estate in my head"? I guess everybody I have ever mentioned owns real estate in my head then.

I remember in 2014, after Brazil lost out, when Neymar publicly stated he hoped Messi and Argentina won the cup....Brazil's arch rival. Its not that big of a deal. I'd rather see Mexico go deep in the tournament than the same European countries as always.

Croatia's midline (midfield) might be the best overall in the tourney that is left in the knockout stage. And their strength in the midfield does really well to neutralize a team like Denmark.
