yea, that's the thing that just makes no sense. He is past the keeper and alone on goal inside the box. There is no greater scoring opportunity. That player made that tackle knowing he was going to get sent off, but it was worth it to make them make a penalty rather than tap it in.

I agree with announcer. Denmark goalie is pumped up. I wouldn't be surprised to see him make a save or two. Then again, he could be overeager and jump the wrong way.

To be fair, that's hardly ever enforced at any level, and has been that way for decades.

that's not as easy to do on the run as you think. the goalie is playing to stop that, which is why he was able to dribble him

Yeah, that's the lane violation of soccer. Could be called 90% of the time but rarely ever is.

yea, most PK ive seen this world cup, the keeper is lunging forward a few feet before the kick is even taken

Refs have usually always let some movement go, but It's starting to get egregious.
