At professional levels, I tend agree with you (and if it was 1995 and social media hadn't infected the planet yet, I'd be all-in on the notion that fan attitude has zero impact).

At the college level; however, the players have to mingle all week long with fans on campus, listening to their "fat little girlfriends" talk about how easy an opponent will be.

No thanks, I enjoy undestimating opponents as much as the next guy. It's part and parcel of being a fan. It's like my attitude to climate change: just because I think it's a problem doesn't mean I'm willing to change my behavior or expect others to change theirs.

Fffff... wasted effort to give up two points allowing two goals in the final 15 minutes.

I'll say this though - West Bromwich looks like a completely different team than they did the first 3/4 of the season. Whoever is managing them now has them moving the right direction.

Yeah, he was a little fired up today. Watching the game, we did get screwed on a couple big calls, but should have taken three points regardless. Rested several key players and the backups played like proper backups.
