Southampton accused Liverpool of being in contact with Van Dijk when they were not allowed to do so.

LFC twitter is going nuts over this. I guess there was a new Sporting Director (similar to a GM) who leaked the "terms" to the press before they had anything confirmed with Roma or Southampton. It's an arrogant and sloppy move and it's a big reason why LFC is so frustrating in the transfer market. Everyone makes unofficial contact, but it's dumb to announce the actual numbers.

When you compare us and Man City, we're absolute barbarians. They announce once someone is signed - we announce once they return a phone call.

I've seen LFC twitter people tracking his flight, which sounds basically the same as the ridiculousness around here when there's a coaching or coordinator search.

We chose well, is basically what I'm saying.

Completely agree, he seems to have really found his groove at Roma and Klopp is going to have him playing naturally vs. so focused on a possession system. If we could find a truly world class ST, I think we break the scoring record.
