IF Rojo actually knows something, i can't imagine him saying things like "give Sumlin a raise", etc over hiring the guy that just failed as OC at ISU. Mangino would be such an underwhelming hire.

My guesses are Meacham, Norvell, or Holgerson.

Not saying Norvell is better, but perception is everything. And perception is that Norvell is an up-and-comer. Mangino is not.

I fully believe that Johnny made McKinney look way better than he was, but our offense has lacked any sort of rhythm since Kliff left. I get annoyed with the KK worship sometimes (he had his issues), but the dude was the best play caller we have seen around here.

What about Chad Morris? Make a deal with him if/when sumlin leaves he can be the next hc

The new OC candidate is very excited about the possibility of guiding the A&M offense. They have always kept an eye on Texas A&M. Both sides are moving forward and there is no reason that anyone can see that an announcement will not be made once the Aggies and completed their last game of this season.

It is, and always has been, a great day to be an Aggie.

And, it is going to be much better to be an Aggie football fan once the "dream team" has its final member. Sumlin, Chavis, and [Touchdown!]. What a team. Seriously, if Sumlin and the AD pull this off -- give them both a raise, add some more statues around Kyle Field when it is all over.

BTW, how did you guys like that game up in Iowa last night? Apparently it only takes 1 point to beat the sips these days......now, that's some strong football.

I'm leaning that direction, as well. Holgersen gets fired, but pockets some serious change from his guaranteed contract. Sumlin would need approval to get to 1+ million for him as OC.

Holgersen and Sumlin go way back. Very similar philosophies. Getting the band back together is a sense. And Spav and Holgersen have history, too.
