Not to overly feed the troll, but isn't it possible that spav stays as a recruiter and "OC in training" and Spurrier gets to just design the scheme and play calling? Wouldn't that be the ideal situation for Sumlin?
You don't have to get rid of the guy who up until now has been recruiting pretty well (and I imagine they are friends to some degree) and you bring in a big name to appease your overlords and fans.
If we're reaching into the heavens and hoping to come down with a slam dunk, wouldn't this be it?
