I don't need a hint and if he's a troll... he's one of the most entertaining ones on this site.

In order for it not to be a troll in my mind, we just need to hire an OC (is that an Offensive Coordinator or an Offensive Consultant Rojo?) around the time frame he gave (Nov - Dec.)

The time frame he gave is after our regular season but before our bowl game. -- "My understanding is the announcement will be sometime on or before the SEC Championship game".

If we hire an Offensive Coordinator after our bowl game... say in mid-Jan or Feb. then I would consider this a troll.

The timing he gives would make sense if you want to keep recruits since you have hired him before signing day comes. Not having Chavis in place shortly after Snyder was fired cost us some recruits, I would hope they wouldn't repeat that mistake.

I hope we make a good hire, but right now I'll take anyone but Spavital (HUGE name or not)

Ok theres got to be someone else that figured this out. Spent an hour on google last night and couldn't find any famous quotes by Football coaches with "huge"

Let me type this real slow so that even you can comprehend: my first post is all that will be needed to identify the fact that I know who it is that A&M is negotiating with and ironing out the finer details.

I will be in College Station on the morning, at the game Saturday and activities afterwards, and visiting with old friends on Sunday at the course. That's when the friend in low places will meet up with me. Should be interesting playing a round of golf and talking about the progress of the hire. And yes, that means two others will be in our foursome who are also aware of what is going on. So, care to be my caddy on Sunday?
