This could be the hold up with the SEC. I can't imagine that they would expect their fans to travel to a football venue that does not have a Waffle House

Look... we need to think bigger than Waffle House (they do have those cool hats), but if we are moving to the SEC we need Chicken with the waffles - on the way to Ole Miss or MSU or Vandy come to Memphis - Uncle Lou's best chicken on the earth!! Not the best neighborhood - so be careful

One other thing folks need to consider - BBQ in the SEC is pork - not real TEXAS BEEF!!!

No, this IS the holdup.

Step 1. Get together with the SEC. Story is that we courted them, not the other way around. Also, assure them that we will have a Waffle House in Aggieland in time for the 2012 season.

Step 2. Authorize Bowtie to explore other conferences.

Step 3. Notify the Big 12 that we are leaving.

Step 4. Announce the construction of a new Waffle House in B/CS.

Step 5. Receive invitation to the SEC.

Step 6. Accept invitation to the SEC.

Come on Ags, we are stuck between steps 3 and 4. I've emailed jeffcole@wafflehouse.com and demanded a Waffle House. Have you? The more Ags Jeff hears from, the more he will realize the urgency of this situation!

When Waffle House becomes an official sponsor of Aggie Athletics I want to see waffles handed out to some lucky winners in the front row of a section.

We have two in Austin, one over in SE Austin by the airport and one on East 290.

I hit it up when leaving town or returning.

Does seem like every college town could use a 24 hour diner or two....though it doesn't seem that the Waffle House is too terribly focused on college students as it's base of customers

True story - at a WH outside of Memphis the waitress asked us (4guys headed to Ole Miss game early on sat morning) if we were headed out to go squirrel hunting. Squirrel hunting? She said yea that those guys that just left were doing the same...

Oddly, there are 2 wafflehausen here in Austin.

Ok, so... Having a ton of WH locations in the DFW & Houston areas makes sense, but are all 8 locations in the Beaumont area really necessary?! Austin and Conroe only get 2 each, Beaumont gets 8, and there are none in BCS! What in the wide, wide world of sports is a'goin' on around here?!

If new stores are off the table for a couple years, maybe we can relocate a few underused WHs from other cities...?

Baylor is apparently suing to prevent the construction of a B/CS Waffle House and thus our moving to the SEC. Email Ken Starr or call him. Demand that he allow our Waffle House to be built!
