We have lots of Waffle Houses up here in Dallas. I have never been to one.

There are a lot of Waffle Houses in Houston too. I have been to one of those, about 15 years ago.

I have sold several sites to WH in DFW and can say without a doubt...thieir food sucks. Careful what you wish for.

That's why every WH I have been to on Saterday morning are packed with people from across all demographics and payscales...enjoying the quick and tasty breakfast they dish out. Those people who work there are not afraid to work; you can see if they are not willing to work their ##ses off they will not last an hour there. The efficient way they turn that food out is unbelievable. I had to wait in line 30 minutes this morning - they was so busy.

A bunch of restaurants just opened up in College Station in the past few years including Chuys, Cracker Barrel and BJs Brewhouse. Texas A&M going to the SEC means that instead of having 800 or 900 fans visiting for a football game there will be 5,000 or 6,000. A Waffle House in B-CS would do gangbusters here. We have traditionally had the lowest unemployment in the country, usually 1% or 2%. As of December 2011 it was 6.2% which is well below the national average. People here eat out all of the time. We love our breakfast places! B-CS continues to grow as there is plenty of development going on in the area.

Please consider coming to Bryan-College Station. On the TexAgs.com football board we talk about waffles all the time...I'm not kidding. At the bottom right hand corner of the website it tells how many Aggies are logged on at any one time. Right now as I type this email there is 9,213 logged on. Usually there is 11,000 or 12,000. The website crashes when it gets over 25,000.
