Your metabolism adjusts when you lose weight- meaning, it now takes less calories overall in order to fuel you for a day when you weigh less. So you must intake less or burn more if you want to lose more weightNa Zdrav 87 said:
Question: I've lost about 20 lbs in the last 2 months. I've hit a wall and don't seem to be making any progress lately. I'm following the same regimen with counting calories, exercise and eating clean.
Has this happened to anyone?
Any suggestions?
If you're TRULY counting every calorie, then there is a misconception about the energy balance- so while it may seem like you're following the plan, you're either intaking more calories than you realize, or you're not burning as many calories as you realize.
Write down what you eat for a week- METICULOUSLY- then eat 200-300 calories less each day to compensate. I guarantee you will start to lose weight again- slowly but surely
