FYI, the ALDS is on TBS Friday. Direct TV guide shows either a 4pm or 730pm start time. My guess is boston gets prime time at 730pm.
Maybe, but only if it's Red Sox vs Yankees. If the A's win, then I think we have a shot of being the prime time game.

Gives you an excuse to leave work early son. Plus we will get to watch most of the 2nd game at the tailgate

Does FWA need a reason to leave work early? I figured he just bosses on out of there when necessary for sports.

Possibly. The surefire way of going was to take one of my customers but it got more difficult with it being on Friday at 1.

The Yankees lineup looked pretty damn scary last night. I'm not sure they have the arms for a 7 game series, but this series versus Boston is going to be good.

Anybody else enjoying the sensation of the Astros starting the playoffs without the nagging voice in your head saying, "Well, they've worked awfully hard to get to this point...I wonder how we're gonna F this up this year...?"

Yes most definitely.

The Stros are no longer a franchise that let a WS slip away (I'm looking at you Rangers) and it feels good.

The World Series is still going to be damn hard to win but the team has been there and done that. See series wins at LA and Boston for proof.

Here's a couple stats for you sports fans

That was the Bregman's fifth career postseason home run and he's hit them all five against brand names: Corey Kluber, Clayton Kershaw, Kenley Jansen, and Chris Sale (two).

All told, the Astros hit four home runs in Game 1 on Friday (Bregman, Springer, Altuve, Martin Maldonado). Believe it or not, Houston has hit at least four home runs in seven postseason games in franchise history. Only the Yankees (13) have more. The Astros have played 81 postseason games all-time. The Yankees have played 333 postseason games.
