Note that Hinch acted like it was no big deal. Something about living in glass houses... These managers know each other real well. Hopefully it will cause the Sox pitchers to lay off a little bit though...

It is not pine tar. It is sun screen and resin. the mix is amazingly sticky.

I have a buddy that was a major league all star. They put on sun screen on there arm, then they use the resin bag. you can't see it but it works really well.

We were drinking and he told me about 5-6 ways he has seen stuff done to a ball.

It's amazing how he can go from looking like an All-Star to implosion randomly. He isn't the only one though. The Dodger catcher had a two innings stretch in game one of that series with two past balls, and error, and catchers interference to cost them the game.
