Good win today and the bats have come to life these past couple of days. One continuous negative is how the hell can Hinch justify having Marisnick in the lineup every day??? I understand his quickness and defense, but he is downright horrendous at the plate. He's squandered so many no out and 1 out scoring opportunities against both the Rangers and Marines these last several games. I understand it's early, but he looks completely lost at the plate.
He thought he grounded into an inning ending double play, but it was only two outs, then he was the third out for running out of the base path on his way back to dugout. Dude, Monday night somebody in our group jokingly asked me if I remembered to bring my glove. Later on a full grown man in the next section reached up with his glove and made a perfect catch.
