Next Wednesday-Friday dropped like 20 degrees across the board on todays forecast vs yesterday's. Of course I moved all of our big projects from this week to next week thinking weather would be better.
Assuming we don't lose power, you should be able to minimize this happening.Quote:

And looks like it is currently forecasted to climb above freezing each day.
Keep in mind the "feels like" temperature has no impact on whether water freezes or not.Phat32 said:
Seeing some "feels like" temps at 0-3 degrees in Dallas next week. Pipe burst szn is back!

some of my weather apps have steadily increased the forecasted lows by a few degrees over the course of the day. Not seeing that reflected on the TV forecast. They have really upped the lows quite a bit down south in Houston.

Looks like low to moderate odds of freezing rain overnight Thursday and we don't get above freezing until mid afternoon Thursday.
So looks like Wednesday will be a sucky day to go outside.
Some of the models show us staying below on Thursday and not getting above until Friday PM too.
That's about it for now, waiting on Monday runs to really lock in

Ponder seems to think we go below freezing Tuesday night and don't come out of it till Friday afternoon. There is some rain early Tuesday and whether or not Tuesday night- Wednesday becomes a s show is determined on if the rain clears early enough Tuesday.
All that being said, I've also noticed Ponder becoming a lot more dramatic as his name has grown and he's gone from local Texas to discussing national.

Do you mean Tuesday night in regards of freezing rain odds? I'm hoping it stays on the Tuesday side. Have to fly out Wednesday AM.
I'm seeing partly cloudy with 30 as high on Wednesday and a couple degrees warmer on Thursday but mostly sunny again.
Not seeing this being much of an issue outside Tuesday night early Wednesday commutes.
Has this ever actually happened, in the history of the Republic of North Texas? I want to believe.TAMUallen said:2wealfth Man said:
