The snow line keeps inching north on the models. But I don't think it will amount to much (maybe .1-.5 inch) if it makes it to Dallas County.

Just gonna be brutally cold with the wind chill for a few days.

It's weird to me that AccuWeather app and the news stations predict our highs to be mid to upper 30's, but 4 hrs south of us they're supposed to get several inches of snow? Will they be colder bc of the precip?

Yes, any kind of snow or ice on the ground will cause colder temps, there's a pretty good chance that somewhere in the Houston region ends up close to the lowest temp in the state on Wednesday morning

Also we will have much more sun. Reason why we will have higher highs, but also colder lows as it'll be clear over night.

Looks to be nothing more than just cold weather. But 35 or 36 as high and sunny is nothing terrible.

I wouldn't be shocked if Sunday felt the coldest. 20mph winds and roughly same temps as Tuesday. But big difference between 5-10 mph winds and 20.

Stupid dog decided he needed to take a dump at 3am this morning. I noticed some snow powder in the cracks of the sidewalks but that was it.

There were some faint flurries around 0300 this morning but nothing sticking in McKinney. Kinda cool as the air seemed glittery/ethereal.
