Just drove from Southlake to West Fort Worth. Mix between snow/sleet and rain. Roads were fine. There was slush but no ice.

2.5" of snow so far for prosper

Pretty sure I already hit the minimum snow levels some of the more conservative models were projecting. And it's still coming down hard.

Transitioned to mostly sleet in SE Frisco.

Just made drive from grapevine to Irving down 114 and had zero issues. No slick spots
Just slush and water .. zero traction issues

Not I do agree canceling school was 100% the correct decision. No need for more people to be out and about but roads not too bad right now at all and looking at forecast not supposed dip below freezing in south half of metroplex until late tonight
So the refreze overnight will make for some treacherous driving conditions early tomorrow before it starts to melt away likely Midday especially on well traveled roads

That is true! And, so far, it has been a big fat nothing-burger at my house. I realize that other people in other locations may experience different things. But, those same people should also realize that what is a big event for them might - in fact - be a nothing-burger for someone else in a different location than they.

Things still have time to change here, I suppose. But, so far, nothing much happening here!

The roads outside my office near North Park look fine and lots of people seem to be driving without issue. My commute was uneventful as well. I could just be a moron though.

Update: I just saw my first snow flurries of the morning. Lasted about 30 seconds and then stopped. Now, back to nothing.

I'm in SW Fort Worth, 76109. It's been primarily sleet falling this morning, coming down pretty hard now. We had some big snow flakes for a bit, and regular rain for a bit this morning. Roofs are white, the road currently has a thin layer of ice/snow. I'm sure it will accumulate more and more as the day goes on. Seems FWISD made the right call.

Slowed down but still coming down decent. There's about a good 2.5 inches stacked on my truck right now. South McKinney

No more snow in Southlake, now just light sleet.

I work close to you. Office is near NorthPark, too.

Drove from Plano to work this AM around 6:45AM and no issues.

Left around 9:50AM and got home around 10:30AM....glad i left when i did...it was not too bad even for my Honda but I imagine a few more hours I would have regretted....

2" and going hard off of 289 near SH121. Not too bad if you've lived up north like Montana or Utah. The freeze/thaw cycle until Monday will suck though.

Good to hear. I have a 2 mile commute back to Lake Highlands and they've treated 75 and Greenville, so everything looks to be moving well.

Probably have 3-4 inches on the ground right now in Corinth and it's snowing harder now.

I'm in Alliance. If it's snowing like this and the majority isn't supposed to come until tonight/overnight we are in for a thick blanket of it.
