12f Mane, seeing the beheaded great plains rat snake from a couple of days ago reminded me of some game camera video clips I have of several gprs catching bats exiting a cave in Williamson county. Interesting behavior to watch. I too lazy to figure out how to post them to Texags but I do have them on my Facebook page if you (or anyone else) want to see them. There are several clips taken over a couple of months last summer so you'll have to scroll back to Sept. 2015 & beyond to watch them.
I have not placed any cameras in the cave this summer but the snakes are probably there doing there thing as usual.
I generally keep a low profile & don't do social media so you can find me under my alias, Bassariscus Astutus. I never post anything other than game camera clips on my page. Just not into Facebooking in the "normal" sense. Just have it to share clips with friends or whoever wants to see unique game cam video clips. In fact, currently the first clip that pops up is of a great blue heron killing a ribbon snake at a spring on my place.
I initially thought Bassariscus Astutus would be a very unusual name that no one else would use but I was mistaken. Some guy in Mexico also uses that name but my user picture is a coachwhip with a bunch of bats exiting a cave as my background.
