To me the defense seemed…..improved-ish??? is the best way I can describe it. The d line got good penetration at times. Though much to the detriment of our defense and to the benefit of one Jayden Daniel's.

Offense seemed to be able to move the ball well and take advantage of our chances, running game being what it was.

Dak looked sharp as did Lamb.
No matter what!
Epstein didn't do, you know, the thing...

The ravens offense is a REALLY bad matchup for the cowboys defense. Mobile qb, physical run game, fast athletic receivers

Offense is going to need to show up big time

Well, you definitely feel better about Dallas after a win like that. Defense still has a lot of work to do, but there is hope that they can get to "average". Offense looks like a real machine. Need to see the run game improve because better defenses are coming.

Should be fun to watch with reasonable expectations.

This is a good test. Worried this is the typical cowboys team that beats cupcakes and loses to the elites. Too bad the game is being played in rio which is dumb.

I think we've found a good LBer. Should only get better w more reps.

I'm sure there's going to be some ups and downs but he's got all the physical tools and seems to have the mentality.

Didn't get to watch much of the game, but he looked like he had much more the quicker trigger and closing speed we saw in the preseason that was mostly absent last Sunday night. Game 1 was a good wake up call for him.

Barham: That video pretty much lines up with my thoughts/notes during the Skins game (as a casual couch observer):

- He reads and reacts faster than any LB we've had in years. Sean Lee type stuff.
- He makes himself small to avoid blocks... maybe an odd comparison, but he looks like Derrick Henry's big body finding a tiny crease.

He's definitely still a rookie and, at times, runs himself out of plays. But most of the errors on Sunday that I noticed were against Daniels and that guy makes All Pro's look slow & silly sometimes.

I am seeing some reports that the playing surface in Rio are terrible with some soccer stars complaining of lumps and uneven surfaces. I don't like the sound of that when injuries are already a concern.
