The cowboys would've had an impossible playoff path. I'm glad we preserved our draft position.

Well as much as we're down on the franchise right now there is a real opportunity in the nfc opening up in the next 5 years or so. All those QBs you listed should be gone. The only other QB to be scared of at all is Russell Wilson.

Huh, hadn't really thought about it, but that is interesting... AFC definitely dominating the NFC in terms of QB talent (not including the guys that are at the end of their careers).

Wentz and Goff falling off their game really hurts the young NFC talent pool. Dallas really made out like bandits getting Dak in that same draft 132 picks later!!!

I don't think Watson belongs in the same tier as Baker and Carr. Dak doesn't belong in the same tier as Cousins and Stafford.

Dak only played 4.5 games and being top 5 is certainly debatable (Brady, Rogers, Mahomes, Wilson, X could be any number of QBs that have actually won something) and 1400 of those yards came from Atlanta (way behind whole game), Seattle (horrible defense), and Cleveland (way behind whole game). Dak is a great leader and the face of the program but he needs to win some trophies.

I think the Watson vs Dak question earlier is certainly debatable.

If I'm being honest, I would like to put Dak higher but I partially put him there to avoid the debate. On the other hand, not sure I can put Dak in Tier 1 until the Cowboys get to an NFC Title Game. Jackson has not been to a title game either but he did win the NFL MVP.

I think Mahomes, Rodgers, and Brady are the only QBs I could say with certainty are better than Dak, with Rodgers and Brady being 37 and 43 respectively.

I think that Russell Wilson, Deshaun Watson, Josh Allen, Lamar, and Dak make up the next group...I think that any of these guys could be better or worse than Dak on a given day with Russ being five years older and obviously having less years of productivity ahead of him.
