College Station leadership is one of the most controlling municipalities in the US. From its street by street control of housing, its policing of the campus and students and the flock cameras....someone needs to take them down.

I posted about this on the Aggieland board. I'm concerned too much attention is given to illegal use of this technology while ignoring the encroachment of the surveillance state. With misuse being the central issue, they'll implement "protections" to mollify that concern and the surveillance state will just continue its plan.

He's seeing the ever growing backlash to these things and starting to do something.

Hopefully he'll do the same with the data centers as well.

Hate on Bernie all you want... but if he gets this through, he is an American hero.

Additinally, he voted against the Patriot Act (OG) and the reauthorization. Plus he was on snowdens side and condemned the NSA.

You can be against his politics, generally, but he is against big brother - so he is good in my book.
