The question from Cruz was actually about Comey telling McCabe to leak stuff to go against Trump. McCabe said Comey knew about it and encouraged it. Comey said that was not true. So either McCabe was lying, or Comey was.
Which brings me back to 2017 when Trump was first inaugurated. Comey's testimony in March that year left my jaw on the floor. He said something like he held back to have a private conversation with POTUS Trump. He brought up the pee tape crap and Trump recoiled, worried about Melania. But then Comey said something really weird to me at the time. "I was worried that he thought I was trying to blackmail him."
What? So Comey himself thought what he said to Trump was J. Edgar Hoover blackmail material? That revealed his intentions. He was trying to blackmail Trump or lead him into obstruction charges.

If congress is a serious body, the people who lie under oath to them need to be punished.
