It really is. I've been stupefied by the war proponent sect of my fellow Americans for many years now.

We mock the MSM pretty broadly here but the reach is quite strong still.

The fact that so many people starred the post calling him a hero speaks volumes.

No one is a hero here. Not Putin, Not Zelensky, not the EU nations for marching this conflict down the road, not the US for funneling Billions to Ukraine.

This is a disaster that needs to stop. But Zelensky is a moron who's propagating more conflict.

The look was bad. They should have talked this through in private. Fighting in public is not a good look.

Fight all you want inside a room.

You understand that this was Zelensky's doing don't you? He attempted to take Trump to task in front of the media. It blew up in his face. Massively.

For that to have happened, they should have had an agreement privately. Don't think that happened.

How do you know they didn't?
What's more likely? A desperate guy who just got the financial spigot turned off on him goes rogue in a last gasp attempt to garner support from the suckers in this country or Trump forgot how to negotiate?
Get serious.

What will "going rogue" do? It is more in his interest to lick Trump's boots.

So no, he did not go rogue.

He very clearly did. This is basic common sense and further evidenced by his begging to stay at the WH after the dog and pony show.
Your goal tending here is absolutely ridiculous.
It's clear you have TDS and are incapable of thinking beyond what you're spoonfed.

Trump being trump isn't "felating" anyone. You are so full of it.

Morally equivalating Russia in this IS relating them.

I do not have any other account. I am not political (despite folks making assumptions here based on one post) and never venture to this board. if that statement is enough for you or anyone else on here to not to do business with me despite 20 years of being a sponsor then that is fine. No worries. That would be your absolute right.

Yes. In a perfect world, you're correct.

That holds true for every conflict that has ever happened in the history of the world.

But in reality, that is not going to happen, and the War's resolution will require concessions on both sides....like has happened countless times in the past to end conflicts.

What's amazing is that he would be that much of a simpleton to actually believe what he posted. He doesn't even come close to understanding the heart of the matter. I hate Valdimir Putin. He's a massive piece of sh*t, and I'm sure everyone else here agrees. I also want this BS to come to an end by whatever means necessary so we can get back to taking care of our own business. The scam has gone on long enough.

Zelensky is right, Putin cannot be trusted. Trump and Vance were wrong to humiliate him in world wide TV. They were terrible hosts. Putin is jumping with joy.

All three came off as childish and unstatesmanlike. If you can't admit that Zelenskyy was at least equally part of the problem in that appearance then you're not remotely objective.

Truly feel very bad for the people of Ukraine and grateful to have a US President that places Americans first, and so can empathize with Zelensky's always trying to improve the odds for his people - but man what a miscalculation and terrible course of decisions. I'm ignorant here. Why is the lack of peace Zelensky's fault and not Putin's fault?
Because it will take concessions by both sides.

Ukraine is not in a position to negotiate. They need us to assist with that. If they give us minerals, in exchange for leverage, they can negotiate peace.

Without us, they will lose. Trump and JD know this. Russia knows this. Everyone knows this.

But Z is being very very short sighted.
I don't buy this. We've let the Europeans establish this narrative as a means to try and control us. Europe could step up. They could stop doing business with Russia. They could drop tariffs on our goods and services. They meet their obligations to NATO.

Our focus needs to be on China. We've put Russia in a condition that Europe can finish the job. They can take it from here.

Dumbest take of the day.

A hero? What makes you think he's a hero?

Gosh, I remember when Trump was president the first time, the leftist media said what a horrible person Zelenskkt was that he was a fascist and a dictator, and Trump was a horrible person to try to deal with him. And then somehow he became a hero during the Democrats corrupt administration.

What a joke.

We are well aware that the the pro-russia side thinks a real hero would lay down and surrender.
It's not that, but this dude is no hero nor is he brave. He can wear all the quasi-military outfits he wants and it won't change anything. And he'll keep it going as long as he can keep banking money away; once that sweet grift runs dry he'll disappear like a roach when the lights come on.

He's a hero because when the entire western world was making plans to give Ukraine to Russia and was negotiating his exile. He held his country together and they pushed the second largest military in the world back to the border and out of the Black Sea. Russia has lost this war already. Today we just aligned ourselves with the losers and against all of Europe and Ukraine. I'm also confident that China is happy to know that there is nothing stopping them from taking Taiwan.
He did that all by his lonesome?

Or did a very powerful ally save his bacon with money and equipment?

Not until after Ukraine withstood the first wave. Let's not rewrite history, most everyone assumed Ukraine would fall within a couple of weeks. No one was lining up to throw money away on a lost cause. The first few weeks were spent trying to punish Russia economically. No one seriously started supporting Ukraine's military effort until Russia was already bogged down.

That's cute and incredibly naive. Naivity is why we're in this mess in the first place. Also, let's not act like NATO expansion is a big nothing burger. How would we respond if Russian military assets showed at our border?
