He's Northbound on Canal, turning East onto Bourbon; you can look around google streetview and see all the gift shops and jewelry store from roughly where that security camera would be positioned:Red Fishing Ag93 said:

According to public records, Jabbar is a Harris County resident and U.S. Citizen. Court records also show Jabbar has a previous criminal history, where he was arrested in 2002 and 2005 by the Katy PD and Beaumont PD, respectively.

Maybe he was told to wait there and someone else detonated him because they felt they were not going to get to carry out their full plan.flakrat said:JCA1 said:Triple S said:

Yep. Coordinated attacks.
I guess anything is possible but I doubt it.
Still early, but the cybertruck thing appears to have accomplished nothing but killing the driver of the car. I'm guessing this was like the guy who set himself on fire. Some crazy loon who wanted to go out making a political statement so he blew himself up in a Tesla in front of a Trump property. Doesn't seem to have anything to do with Islamic terror.
Weird that the Cyber truck loon didn't punch it through the lobby doors before detonating the explosives.
Seems like having a criminal record would disqualify you from enlistment in the Army, and also if you did manage to enlist you would be disqualified from being in IT which usually requires a security clearance, no?Quote:https://www.click2houston.com/news/national/2025/01/01/driver-identified-as-houston-resident-in-new-orleans-new-years-attack-that-killed-10/Quote:

Based on what we know so far,
Graduates HS in Beaumont in '01
Goes in the US Army as IT specialist at Ft. Bragg.
Next he's a real estate agent in Houston and works at a RE company in Ft. Bend Co.
Then sometime between now and February 2023 when he quits real estate he gets 'radicalized' and launches a New Years Day attack in NOLA using a F150 EV rented on Tuuro with an ISIS flag, and found in possession of a Glock and .308 rifle reported stolen from New Jersey.
Anything to add?

OTOH, have to wonder about this timing and the lack of response (publicly) from Wray and Garland.
Something is off about all of this.

Something to consider, 9/11 happened 23 years old. No doubt some of the Muslim kids were picked on or had their feelings hurt with some of the rhetoric.

I put zero stock in where they rented a vehicle from or that they were both electric. Why would Islamic terrorists give a crap about either of those things?
FJB had to take a 4 hour nap. Take some uppers and prepare. Maybe the uppers were too much and had to postpone.Stat Monitor Repairman said:

Doesn't fit the narrative of being radicalized. Although it wouldn't shock me.
Does he have a family? I could see him befriending some terrorists at his local mosque and they put him up to it / threaten to kill his family? Needed someone with a clean background.
Wouldn't be shocked if he was not sane.
Will be interested to get more of the story. If they ever give it to us.

There's already a Wiki on the attack...Quote:
