I guess anything is possible but I doubt it.

Still early, but the cybertruck thing appears to have accomplished nothing but killing the driver of the car. I'm guessing this was like the guy who set himself on fire. Some crazy loon who wanted to go out making a political statement so he blew himself up in a Tesla in front of a Trump property. Doesn't seem to have anything to do with Islamic terror.

Weird that the Cyber truck loon didn't punch it through the lobby doors before detonating the explosives.
Maybe he was told to wait there and someone else detonated him because they felt they were not going to get to carry out their full plan.

Seems like having a criminal record would disqualify you from enlistment in the Army, and also if you did manage to enlist you would be disqualified from being in IT which usually requires a security clearance, no?

Doesn't fit the narrative of being radicalized. Although it wouldn't shock me.

Does he have a family? I could see him befriending some terrorists at his local mosque and they put him up to it / threaten to kill his family? Needed someone with a clean background.

Wouldn't be shocked if he was not sane.

Will be interested to get more of the story. If they ever give it to us.

Depends on the offenses. And a lot of things get waived during low recruiting periods

I wouldn't classify Islamic terrorists as insane people. Yes, they have idiotic twisted beliefs, but don't qualify as insane.

Possible midlife crisis that resulted in diving deeper into his religion and the fundamentalists. Mid 30s is about the age that sparks a renewed interest in religion.
