What happens is these guys may be normal dudes. They go on Hajj (religious pilgrimage to Mecca) and meet other crazy Islamics who brainwash them. It is easy to turn them into jihadis and want to fight for a Caliphate etc... even educated people fall for this.

Listened to the whole press conference and main takeaway is that theres more to this than a single guy, and they aren't revealing a lot of key info to the public.

I have been engineering and selling battery powered systems for almost a decade. Lithium ion batteries don't explode, they release their internal gasses so they don't explode. That truck exploded by external factors

Could this be a situation where there is an initial incident and then IEDs go off to take out first responders (Oct 7th)?

If this was the case then there was somebody predicting this tactic being employed in the US for weeks on X.
