So the guy went from real estate agent direct to ISIS?
Based on what we know so far,
Graduates HS in Beaumont in '01
Goes in the US Army as IT specialist at Ft. Bragg.
Next he's a real estate agent in Houston and works at a RE company in Ft. Bend Co.
Then sometime between now and February 2023 when he quits real estate he gets 'radicalized' and launches a New Years Day attack in NOLA using a F150 EV rented on Tuuro with an ISIS flag, and found in possession of a Glock and .308 rifle reported stolen from New Jersey.
Anything to add?
Doesn't fit the narrative of being radicalized. Although it wouldn't shock me.
Does he have a family? I could see him befriending some terrorists at his local mosque and they put him up to it / threaten to kill his family? Needed someone with a clean background.
Wouldn't be shocked if he was not sane.
Will be interested to get more of the story. If they ever give it to us.
They're using the armored vehicle as a shield. If they fan out, they are in the field of fire coming from the house (if that were to happen).Stat Monitor Repairman said:

His profile matches up almost perfectly with the German Magdeburg terrorist a week ago. 2nd generation Islamic, middle class, never assimilated, radicalized later in life. This archetype is very common. Islamic don't generally assimilate and the 2nd and 3rd generations are worse.

Growing up in these groups probably doesn't set one up for much success, and we all compare ourselves most to the people we know. People we knew from High School for example. Life goes on, some years pass and these types can find a lot of real and imagined reasons for being angry.

Second generation kids many times can be more attached to their parents culture or country than the 1st generation parents. That's my experience.
Pipe bombs were found in multiple other locations in New Orleans. I'm being told 6.

Still an immigration issue. So many do not assimilate and have no plans to. It's in these communities that the next generation gets radicalized.

I don't think they were on him when he hit the lift. Did you see how fast he went? I bet that drive was over pretty fast as that is a short distance for a car going that fast.Aust Ag said:halfastros81 said:

That's right. Well then I would imagine civilians were shot. When he hit that lifter, I wonder if the cops were already on him ? On that one video it kind of looks like civilians were going over to check on him then shots were fired by someone. Did he start shooting at people trying to help?
