Is it accusations and speculation if it's true? Are they really finding clotting and fibrous structures in the postmortem that were not there before Covid? Seems to be this wouldn't be difficult to investigate. Instead, we'll just call them all conspiracy theorists and antivaxxers.

Yes! If you don't have any evidence of it, it's accusation and speculation. If there is evidence, why do we need to do an investigation first? Present it.

It's been presented. It's been shared all over social media. It's been referenced by the MSM.

This is the way you always respond.

How am I supposed to present evidence of postmortem bodies showing blood clotting and fibrous structures that were not present ten years ago? I'm not a pathologist. But the claims have been made and evidence presented. If Fauci and the government are so concerned that this is disinformation, perhaps provide evidence to the contrary? As I stated, it shouldn't be difficult. But just as our president's press secretary wouldn't even consider fielding a question on Hunter Biden's laptop, Fauci and the MSM don't want to discuss it even though it's the elephant in the room.

that many dead or collapsing on field athletes.. those are all sure to be a anecdotal coincidences. I can't believe conspiraloons were allowed to put all that together in one link.

That link is an actual Geocities website from the late 90s.

The actual wow is anyone reading that and trusting it. Im not even commenting on the merits of an argument. Just a comment on an authoritative source with many stars which is clearly not legit. Come on.

someone put together a long list of suddenly dead and collapsed athletes. Some people might look at that list and think, "gee. Someone legit should look into this." While others might look at that list and think, "gee. That's a crappy geocities website made by a non web developer. Oh they used unnamed hockey player in the list. Clearly no one should look into this at all. Ever. All coincidences obviously. There! Bam! Deeeebunked!!! Anyone concerned is a conspiraloon!"

So The recent Damar Hamlin thing….guy is in game and tackles someone, taking a hit direct to his chest from the shoulder of the guy he tackled…stands up and then collapses a few seconds later.

There are posters here who'd guess COVID-19 vaccine was the cause of his collapse, not taking a direct hit to his chest a few seconds earlier?

Hopefully nobody is actually going that full 'conspiraloon'. The Hamlin incident it is cut and dry what happened. He took a direct hit to the chest playing a violent sport.
We can no longer deny, and studies support, the contention that the vaccine increases the risk of myocarditis, particularly in young men like Hamlin. Additionally, it is perfectly reasonable, and many physicians share the concern, that myocarditis can increase the risk of arrhythmias caused by impacts to the chest. It is not conspiratorial. It is reasonable to suspect the vaccine may have contributed to the collapse.

Naw, the Hamlin case is definitely in the 'conspiratorial' category…if somebody is pushing an anti-vax hypothesis storyline RE Hamlin then they are prone to believe conspiracies. Is what it is.
Which of the two contentions do you deny if either?

1) The vaccine increases risk of myocarditis, especially in young men.
2) Myocarditis increases the risk of chest impact arrhythmias.

You're not supposed to be allowed to consider those two notions or dare suggest a real study be performed. Didn't you notice the website listing dead athletes used an old geocities format?

It's absolutely not. The thing everyone is clinging to, commotio cordis, is so highly unlikely that to assume that was the cause is akin to thinking Covid started from someone eating a bat. Utterly ridiculous. Especially now that more info is out, namely he coded again in the hospital.

It's a common tactic to completely dismiss ideas that counter one's intellectual (or political) priors when they threaten to change the foundations of one's world view. To simply throw the question out there about the vax and its implications should be welcomed and encouraged by the scientific community as a whole. It's concerning that the scientific community isn't leading the charge in pursuing these hypotheses. And the fact that they actively try to suppress these questions or concerns is completely counter to the scientific ethos of, well, science.

Zobel has to defend this because Zobel is quadruple vaxxed/boosted. If he's wrong, he's going to die in his 30s or 40s due to cardiac arrest. He cant go back in time and not take the experimental vaccine... So he simps for Big Pharma.

Pretty easy to see.

It's just the same small group of anti vax people amplified through a new channel. They're using the same arguments they've used for years against measles, flu, other vaccines. They just found a new audience willing to listen to them and retweet everything they post on twitter. It's not hard to spot the pattern once you recognize it.

Knowing what you know now, would you do it again?

If I read up on a "vaccine" that

a.) doesnt prevent you from contracting the disease
b.) doesnt prevent you from transmitting the disease
c.) Might lead to cardiac issues in the future

Would you still take it? I wouldn't

The fact that you are here goaltending for a safe, free, and effective "vaccine" is hilarious.

It's not either of those 3 things.

But you had to. For work.

Of course. The vaccines are probably safer than any flu shot you ever took.

You really shouldn't take flu vaccines then. They're worse in both aspects and carry a greater risk of severe events like Guillan-Barre.

If you say what I'm doing is goaltending what do you call the constant posts about vaccines from people who won't take them? Honestly the only place the vaccines ever come up in my life is here. I literally never hear about them anywhere else. The rest of the world seems to have moved on.

Took both and a booster because international travel required it. Yes, would do it again.

I was neither concerned of getting COVID itself or the COVID vaccine. Didn't care either way if vaccinated, but I did need to travel overseas and so be it. That was the deal. And doing just fine running around.

I don't trust much on the internet at this point. There is always plenty out there to fit any point of views. Google 'proof the earth is flat' and you literally get dozens of linked hits stating such proofs in a variety of ways.

Pro-Vax plenty of articles backing you up. Anti-Vax plenty of articles backing you up. The internet makes it SO easy to reinforce whatever opinions you have.

Always better to just use your common sense and 'if quacks like a duck then is a duck' logic. Conspiracy theories…there are literally tens of thousands of them on the internet easily found and presumably 99% B.S. but they get lots clicks and views so the conspiracy theory industry is good business.

Does the flu shot protect me from contracting influenza?
Does the flu shot protect me from transmitting influenza?

I guess all I have to go on is the fact that if I got the flu shot and contracted the flu, it might have been way worse if I hadn't gotten a flu vaccine. But I didnt get the flu vaccine, because I have a healthy immune system...sooo....

Yes that's how a lot of vaccines work.

I've had the flu once in my life. It kinda sucked. I don't get the flu shot because I'm lazy, but that time I wish I had.

Questions that maybe someone on here can explain to me...not directly related to the topic/athletes but just thought someone might have thoughts:

1) Is there a thought to how long after vaccination that you could get myocarditis? As in, could it occur months/years after or is this typically occurring within days/weeks of being vaccinated?

2) Is there anything to show that COVID itself is not causing anything? For me, unvaxxed, is there an increased riks of myocarditis from just being infected about 12 - 14 months ago.
